Small business takes on a whole new meaning with a young man in Guilford, with big dreams of helping Connecticut’s homeless population.
Cooper Schwartz was volunteering his time at a local soup kitchen when he asked what homeless men and women there really needed to help during winter.
When they told him, 'Better hats', he got to work.
Now his “Hedgehog Beanies” company has sold over 1,000 beanies, making a lot of money to help the homeless. And with every hat he sells, another one is donated to the homeless too. Check him out at the Hedgehog Beanies website!
