HARTFORD, Conn. — Macy’s opened stores across Connecticut today.
Store hours are from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and the retailer says it has put safety measures in each store and is abiding by the Governor’s guidelines and CDC protocol.
It’s also offering contact-free curbside pick-up at select stores Monday through Friday between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Cheshire Fitness Zone is gearing up to reopen June 1.
It has clinics in Cheshire, Meriden, and Orange that specialize in physical, occupation and speech therapy.
Because of the pandemic, it has switched to telehealth services, but will slowly open up its locations next month.
Cheshire Fitness Zone is taking a number of precautions including closing the waiting rooms and eliminating ball pits, stuffed animals, and fabrics in the areas. Patients and parents will also have to abide by some guidelines.
Sikorsky’s parent company, Lockheed Martin, helping the Connecticut Food Bank as its needs doubles during this pandemic.
The company gave a $515,000 grant to the organization that will go to the purchase, transportation, storage, and redistribution of food all across the state.
In addition, the company has been manufacturing personal protective equipment for healthcare workers, helping school districts with distance learning, and donating meals to front line workers.
