HARTFORD, Connecticut — Detectives responded to two shooting cases on Friday. Both incidents happened within the lapse of 9:00 pm.
The first emergency call of a gunshot was reported in 1994 Main Street approximately at 9:12 pm.
At their arrival, detectives found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. The victim was brought to Saint Francis Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. The person was identified as 28-year-old Corey Albiaziz of Hartford.
Shortly after, at 9:31 pm. Police responded to another shooting on 12 Webster Street.
Upon arrival, officials found a person suffering from a gunshot wound.
Paramedics used lifesaving measures, but after several efforts, the victim was pronounced deceased on the scene. The person was identified as twenty-seven-year-old Michael Dudley of Durham.
The Hartford Police Major Crimes and Crime Scene Divisions are investigating. Anyone with information is asked to call at 860-722-8477.
