HARTFORD, Conn. — A Hartford man is dead after he was assaulted Wednesday evening.
Police said they were called to St. Francis Hospital on the report of an assault victim arriving around 6 p.m.
When officers had arrived, the victim was pronounced dead. He's been identified as 41-year-old Martin Hamilton.
Police learned the assault happened inside an apartment on Sigourney Street.
