CONNECTICUT, USA — Connecticut's governor says the winter storm that was expected to drop more than a foot of snow Monday forced the postponement of numerous COVID-19 vaccinations but was not impacting the supply of vaccine into the state.
Lamont says vaccines thawed for use Monday will still be good for up to 10 days and he was urging those with vaccination appointments to call and reschedule.
He says the state is exempting trucks carrying vaccines from a storm-related ban on tractor-trailers traveling on the state's interstates.
