FOX61 News is answering all of your questions regarding COVID-19.
FOX61's Taylor Dichello brings us two questions we have seen many of you sending in.
A: If you don’t have access to the internet or have an impairment that prevents you from filing yourself, call (860) 263-6975 or (203) 455-2653. The person who answers will take down your information and a claims person will get back to you in 5 days, according to the DOL.
A: People are frustrated because they were told that on April 30th they would be able to apply for the Pandemic Unemployment Assistance benefits.
However, the DOL did give us an update today. They say that the second step to filing for self-employed individuals should be available by this week and they're going to give us an update on it on the media call, which is happening tomorrow, Thursday, May 7.
