CONNECTICUT, USA — Open enrollment for Access Health CT (AHCT) begins Nov. 1, and there will be in-person events to help Connecticut residents enroll.
AHCT announced 10 enrollment fairs throughout the month in several towns and cities to help residents shop and compare for policies with health or dental coverage. Residents will also be able to renew their coverage.
If customers enroll on or before Dec. 15, coverage will start Jan. 1, 2025. If they enroll between Dec. 16, 2024, and Jan. 15, 2025, coverage will begin Feb. 1, 2025.
Connecticut residents who want to attend a fair can book an appointment online on the Enrollment Events webpage on AccessHealthCT.com. Walk-in appointments are welcome.
The enrollment fairs will take place at the following places and times:
- New Haven: Saturday, Nov. 2, at Dixwell Community House (Q House), located at 197 Dixwell Avenue, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Hartford: Monday, Nov. 4, at Make the Road CT, located at 885 Wethersfield Avenue, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Bridgeport: Wednesday, Nov. 6, at St. Vincent’s Medical Center, located at 2800 Main Street, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Torrington: Thursday, Nov. 7, at Torrington City Hall, located at 140 Main Street, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Waterbury: Saturday, Nov. 9, at Wilby High School, located at 568 Bucks Hill Road, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Middletown: Tuesday, Nov. 12, at the Community Health Center of Middletown, located at 675 Main Street, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Bristol: Wednesday, Nov. 13, at Bristol Public Library, 5 High Street, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Fairfield: Friday, Nov. 15, at the Bigelow Center for Senior Activities, located at 100 Mona Terrace, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Willimantic: Saturday, Nov. 16, at Generations Family Health Center, located at 40 Mansfield Avenue, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Norwalk: Thursday, Nov. 21, at Norwalk City Hall, 125 East Avenue, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Other options for help with enrollment are available online, in person, and over the phone.
For free help online, customers can visit the website. They can also chat with a customer service representative by clicking the “Live Chat” icon on the website. Live chat is available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6:45 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.
Customers can also call 1-855-805-4325, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Help is available in over 100 languages. The call center will be open from 8 a.m. to midnight on Dec. 15, 2024, and Jan. 15, 2025.
The call center will be closed on Nov. 28, Nov. 29, Dec. 25, 2024, and Jan. 1, 2025.
Customers who are deaf or hearing impaired may use TTY at 1-855-789-2428 or call with a relay operator.
