HARTFORD, Conn — Days appear to be numbered for Boston Market locations in Connecticut according to eviction notices filed in towns across the state.
All locations are receiving eviction notices. According to the notices, the property owners say they have not received payment for rent.
They say the markets owe hundreds of thousands of dollars. All locations were closed Monday.
Eviction notices filed with towns said the chain stopped paying rent earlier this year and have refused to leave.
The chain has locations in Newington, Meriden, West Hartford, Milford, Danbury, Wilton, East Haven, Stamford and Bristol.
Boston Market has faced lawsuits from suppliers and workers for years.
