WALLINGFORD, Conn. — A road is closed in Wallingford Wednesday night after a car crashed into a utility pole.
Police say the crash happened in the area of 181 North Colony Road. The utility pole will need to be replaced. It is expected the road will be closed for several hours. North Colony Road is closed between Church Street and Wrinn Street.
Police added it is expected several homes and businesses will lose power while the pole is being replaced.
