Danbury Fair Mall threat found non-credible, police investigating swatting call

The mall has reopened for business as usual, police said.

DANBURY, Conn. — The Danbury Police Department determined a threat involving the Danbury Fair Mall to be non-credible and are investigating it as a swatting incident, according to police Sunday evening.

At 4:30 p.m., police said officers went to the mall after receiving a report about a possible incident.

Arriving officers learned that there was no credibility to the threat and no danger to the public.

The mall has reopened for business as usual, police said.

Police are investigating the threat as a swatting call.
