Woman was going 125 mph when stopped: State Police

The incident happened on I-95 northbound in the area of Exit 4 in Greenwich.

GREENWICH, Conn. — Connecticut State Police stopped a driver who they said was doing 125 mph in a 55 mph zone on Interstate 95 early Friday. 

Police said at 12:17 a.m., a Trooper monitoring traffic on I-95 northbound in the area of Exit 4 in Greenwich saw a BMW driving erratically. The trooper determined that the BMW was traveling at 125 mph in a posted 55 mph zone, and the Trooper stopped the car. 

The driver was identified as Genesis Rosado-Inga, 32, of Stamford. Rosado-Inga was charged with reckless driving.

She was later released on a $500 bond and is scheduled for arraignment on Jan. 5, 2024, at Stamford Superior Court.
