NORWALK, Conn. — A partnership between the Connecticut Lottery Corporation, Fanatics Sportsbook and Sportech Inc. has resulted in the creation of a new retail sportsbook location at Sportech’s Winners in Norwalk.
Fanatics Sportsbook is the Connecticut Lottery Corporation’s exclusive sports betting partner for mobile and retail. Since it opened on Nov. 19, sports fans can visit the Winners Norwalk location at 24 Burnell Boulevard. There, they can place their bets ahead of the Grand Opening on Sunday.
The new location is located just off Interstate 95. It includes betting windows, eight self-service betting kiosks and high-definition televisions placed throughout the facility.
According to a release from the Connecticut Lottery Corporation, the Fanatics Sportsbook at Winners Norwalk will provide betting markets for all major sports, including professional and college football, basketball, hockey, baseball, tennis, soccer, golf, MMA and boxing.
To begin their Fanatics experience, Connecticut sports fans can download the Fanatics Sportsbook app on iOS and Android or visit any of the 11 retail sports betting locations.
In Connecticut, Fanatics Sportsbook online customers can earn up to 10% back in FanCash on every bet, and retail customers can begin earning FanCash by opening a mobile account and signing up for a free Fanatics Player Card at a retail counter.
The release said that placing a bet at a retail can earn customers FanCash that can be used for bonus bets or team merchandise at the Fanatics website. More information can be found by accessing FanCash terms and conditions.
The 11 Connecticut retail sportsbooks can be found at the XL Center in Hartford, Total Mortgage Arena in Bridgeport, Bobby V’s in Stamford and Windsor Locks, Murphy’s Pub & Sports Bar in Manchester, Sports Haven in New Haven and Winners in Hartford, Milford, New Britain, Waterbury and Norwalk.
The Connecticut Lottery Corporation emphasizes that responsible gaming is one of its core values and is also recognized as important by Fanatics and Sportech. Connecticut online customers have access to Responsible Gaming tools to balance their time and money.
On-site retail staff have also received responsible gaming training and are able to offer support services to customers when necessary. Additionally, the Fanatics Sportsbook offers online customers in Connecticut an advanced Help Center, chat experience and agents who can help with 24/7 coverage.
