Norwalk police asking for public's help on 13th anniversary of double fatal shooting

A $50,000 reward is being offered for anyone with information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the fatal shooting.

NORWALK, Conn. — Norwalk police are looking for the public's help in finding those responsible for the shooting deaths of two people exactly 13 years ago.

On Aug. 6, 2011, Iroquois Alston, 27, and Rickita Smalls, 22, were fatally shot in a car on Avenue B in Norwalk, police said.

A $50,000 reward is being offered for anyone with information leading to an arrest and conviction, according to police.

In 2022, investigators said that they had persons of interest but needed the public's help to give closure to the families of Alston and Smalls.

Anyone with information is asked by police to contact Det. Chris Imparato at 203-854-3190. Anonymous tips can be submitted by phone at 203-854-3111, the Norwalk police website at www.norwalkpd.com, or through text by typing "NORWALKPD" followed by the message and sending it to TIP411 (847411).
