BERLIN, Connecticut — Firefighters battled a heavy fire on Southington Road Friday afternoon.
Fire crews first arriving on the scene, saw heavy smoke coming from the home. due to the location tankers, other fire departments were called to the scene to help Berlin.
No one was injured during the fire.
The Berlin Fire Department says the scene is still active and to avoid the area.
