BRISTOL, Conn. — A Bristol resident shot his firearm at an unknown vehicle speeding toward him in his neighborhood, and police are now searching for that vehicle.
Bristol police said that in the area of 100 Vincent Road, a resident walking their dog saw an unknown vehicle in their neighbor's driveway. As he got closer, an unknown suspect returned to an awaiting vehicle which quickly drove away at a high rate of speed towards the dead end of Vincent Road.
Reaching the dead end, the suspect's vehicle then backed over a nearby lawn, returning the way it came, at a high rate of speed and toward the resident.
Fearing for his life, the resident fired a single gunshot from his legally owned and possessed firearm, at the approaching suspect vehicle.
No injuries were reported and no arrests have been made.
Police are asking for the public to view the video above of the suspect vehicle, which is described as a white or light-colored mid-sized SUV, which has not been recovered.
