BRISTOL, Conn — Police are investigating the second threat in two days against Bristol Central High School.
Around 10:00 a.m., the Bristol Central High School Administration found graffiti of a non-specific threat in a boy’s bathroom located in the school.
Officials said the Bristol Police Department will also be investigating this incident.
There is no known specific or ongoing threat to the community. Anyone with information is asked to contact School Resource Officer Gotowala at 860-584-3215.
On Wednesday, a 14-year-old was charged with making a threat on social media against the same school.
Police said they received reports that a threat had been made Wednesday morning and responded to the school with additional patrols along with school resource officers, and Board of Education staff at all schools.
Police identified the suspect as a 14-year-old. Officials said there was no ongoing threat to the schools.
The teen has been charged with breach of peace in the second degree and threatening in the first degree. They will be arraigned in New Britain Juvenile Court.
Police did not release the suspect's name because of their age.
