EAST HARTFORD, Conn. — The former Stone Academy campus in East Hartford has new property owners, according to Amodio & Co. Real Estate, who sold the campus properties.
The two properties of the East Hartford campus were sold to two separate buyers last week, with the sales totaling $1,025,000.
The 745 Burnside Ave. property, which includes a two-story building with classrooms, sold for $600,000. The 763 Burnside Ave. property sold for $425,000. Both owners intend to renovate the properties for office use, and the owner of 745 Burnside would potentially include multifamily use, according to Amodio.
Stone Academy was once a nursing school that spanned three campuses around Connecticut. The school closed abruptly on Feb. 15, 2023, leaving over 800 students in limbo. The state stepped in to try to get students their transcripts and enroll them in a different program.
Stone Academy also had campuses in Waterbury and West Haven.
