Mother, infant dead after triple shooting: Hartford police

Three victims arrived to the Hartford Hospital emergency room Tuesday, according to police.

HARTFORD, Conn. — Hartford police said a mother and an infant are dead after a shooting that wounded three people Tuesday.

Just before 3 p.m., police received a report about a vehicle that dropped off multiple shooting victims dropped off at Hartford Hospital, according to Hartford Police Lt. Aaron Boisvert.

Three people inside the vehicle had been shot, including a 20-year-old woman and a four-month-old boy who have died, Boisvert said. One person had non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators believe that the 20-year-old woman is the mother of the four-month-old boy, according to Boisvert.

Police are investigating the area of 380 Britain Ave., where investigators believe that a suspect vehicle pulled up to the victims' vehicle and opened fire, Boisvert said.
