HARTFORD, Conn — Rock fans want Capulet Entertainment to face the music after the Capulet Music Festival chaos.
People are demanding their money back in a class action lawsuit slamming Capulet Entertainment for failing to provide what was advertised to ticket holders.
The people named in the class action lawsuit said they were looking forward to a weekend full of music and food. Instead, they said they got a last-minute change in venue, a shortened show and no refund.
The lawsuit comes several weeks after the festival weekend.
The events were supposed to take place June 28 through 30th at Thompson Speedway.
Hours before opening day, Capulet Entertainment announced a venue change to the Webster in Hartford.
The venue was an hour away from the race track with a much smaller capacity.
Ticket holders said bands cancelled, performances were cut short and the event was shut down Saturday night, cancelling the entire third day of the festival.
Capulet Entertainment promised camping, meet and greets and VIP parking passes, which for many ticket holders, did not happen.
Vendors also were scrambling in the shuffle and did not see the amount of fans they were promised with many rock lovers deciding not to come.
Attorney General William Tong is investigating dozens of complaints.
The class action lawsuit is looking to cover all ticketholders to the event.
Capulet Entertainment deleted its Facebook page and has not announced any news on refunds.
