HARTFORD, Conn. — A man has died after being found in a car with stab wounds overnight Saturday in Hartford, according to police.
Police were called to Saint Francis Hospital around 3:23 a.m. for a report of an unconscious man inside a vehicle near the emergency room entrance. Arriving officers found the victim suffering from apparent stab wounds.
He was brought into the emergency room, where he was pronounced dead, according to police.
Police identified the victim as Kendell Jones, 52, of East Hartford. Officers later determined that the stabbing took place on the 600 block of Albany Ave. It is not clear what led up to the incident.
This investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call in a tip to Hartford police at 860-722-TIPS (8477).
