HARTFORD, Conn. — A man was arrested in connection to a fatal stabbing in April, according to the Hartford Police Department Monday.
Peter Logan, 31, of Hartford is facing a murder charge following the death of Jason Williamson, 41, of Windsor, and was held on a $2 million bond, police said.
On April 25 at 3:33 p.m., officers went to the area of Plainfield Street after receiving a report of a man who was unresponsive in a vehicle, according to police.
When investigators learned that the man had a stab wound, the Hartford Fire Department attempted life-saving measures until EMS arrived to take him to a hospital where he died, police said.
The Hartford Police Major Crimes and Crime Scene Divisions took up the investigation. According to police, they obtained an arrest warrant for Logan after establishing probable cause for his arrest.
Logan was found on July 12 and taken into custody by the United States Marshals Violent Fugitive Task Force, along with members of the Hartford Police Violent Crimes unit and North Street Crimes Unit, police said.
