HARTFORD, Conn. — The 2024 Hartford Pride and Concert Festival is set to be held on Sept. 14, according to a spokesperson Sunday.
The LGBTQ+ festival will take place from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Church Street in Downtown Hartford this Saturday.
The spokesperson said the event will feature performances from award-winning singer Thea Austin, "Queen of the Universe" and "American Idol" finalist Ada Vox, vocalist David Hernandez and singer and dancer Antonio Mercado. Local talent including drag performances will also be featured.
RuPaul's Drag Race finalist Robin Fierce will be serving as the MC and host for the event, according to the spokesperson.
The festival will additionally have national and local vendor exhibits, including a LEGO tent and a Nissan Pet Station.
"Hartford PRIDE and Concert 2024 is all about embracing community and celebrating the spirit of inclusion," the spokesperson said. "This family-friendly, pet-friendly event invites people from all walks of life to share the joy of unity and love. Whether you're attending for the performances, for the culture or to support a welcoming community, Hartford PRIDE and Concert 2024 promises a day full of excitement, entertainment and pride."
