HARTFORD, Conn. — Hillary Clinton, former U.S. Secretary of State and First Lady, is coming to Hartford in September, according to a release Tuesday.
As part of a fall tour to promote her new book "Something Lost, Something Gained", The Bushnell announced in a release that Clinton has added 10 cities to her stops across the U.S., including Hartford, totaling 15 planned visits.
The visit to The Bushnell Performing Arts Center will be at 7 p.m. on Sept. 26, the release said. Tickets go on sale on Aug. 2.
According to the release, Clinton will be joined by a moderator at each event to "take the audience on a journey of unvarnished exchanges on politics, democracy, the threats we face, as well as friendship, aging, marriage and how we can all work together to shape a future to be proud of."
More information on tickets and tour dates can be found here. Her new book releases on Sept. 17.
"I hope you can join me for wide-ranging conversations that go behind the scenes and include never-before-told stories," Clinton said. "We'll discuss the state of our politics and creating the future we want for our children and grandchildren and, most of all, have some fun while we're at it!"
Clinton previously served as a U.S. Senator from New York, a First Lady during former President Bill Clinton's time in office, a U.S. Secretary of the State under President Barack Obama from 2009 to 2013 and a U.S. presidential candidate for the Democratic Party in 2016. She joined the faculty at Columbia University in 2023. Her full White House bio can be found here.
