HARTFORD, Conn. — Hartford's J Restaurant and Bar will be closing after the property was sold on Jan. 25, the business announced on Monday.
Jordan Dikegoros, owner of the business, announced in a Facebook post that he had sold his restaurant properties to LAZ Parking.
The restaurant still has a 1 year lease on the property and an official closure date has not been determined, Dikegoros said.
According to Dikegoros, the restaurant is exploring "numerous options" and are in the planning stages for the future of the restaurant.
"We would like to thank all of you for the concern that you have shared with regards to us leaving, but we are still here so let's make the best of the time that we have," Dikegoros wrote in the Facebook post. "As soon as things transpire, we will be sure and make another announcement. Reflect back on when we set up for COVID and our logo was 'Paved Parking Lot, Put up a Paradise' and now it has come full circle, 'Paved Paradise, Put up a Parking Garage.' We will now turn the page and see what the future holds."
According to the restaurant's website, J Restaurant and Bar has the largest outdoor patio in Hartford and offers salads, pizza, pasta and daily specials, along with craft beer and wine.
