ROCKY HILL, Conn — A crash has caused a section of Main Street to be closed Monday morning according to emergency officials.

Rocky Hill Police said that Main Street in the area of Hillside Avenue is closed to both northbound and southbound traffic between Grimes Road and West Street through the morning commute after a car hit a utility pole overnight. Hillside Avenue will also be closed eastbound leading to main street.

Crews will replace a utility pole and the closure is expected to last several hours.

The driver of the vehicle reported minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital. At this time it has not been determined when the roads will be reopened.
