MANCHESTER, Conn. — Firefighters are tackling a blaze at an auto body shop in Manchester on Friday morning.
A three-alarm fire broke out at Capitol Automotive on Main Street. Just after 10 a.m., the fire was fully developed as firefighters were tackling the flames from in front and behind the building.
The windows at the front of the building were broken and the smoke was visibly billowing out. Vehicles parked outside of the auto body shop did not appear to be damaged from the fire.
The smoke from the fire was visible from more than 5 miles away. Main Street is closed and drivers are asked to see alternate routes.
Additional details were not immediately available. FOX61 News has a crew at the scene.
