Woman hit by vehicle on Main Street hospitalized: Rocky Hill police

The driver stayed on scene and "is cooperating with the investigation," police said.

ROCKY HILL, Conn. — A 66-year-old woman was hospitalized after being hit by a vehicle on Main St. in Rocky Hill on Friday morning, according to police.

Officers, firefighters, and an ambulance were called to the 2700 block of Main St. for a report of a crash involving a pedestrian.

The victim was seriously injured and taken to an area hospital where she is listed in critical condition, police said.

The driver stayed on scene and "is cooperating with the investigation," police said.

Police believe the vehicle was traveling south on Main St. while the woman was walking west in the roadway at the time of the crash.

This crash remains under investigation. Anyone with information regarding this crash is asked to call Rocky Hill Police at 860-258-2511.
