FARMINGTON, Connecticut — Farmington police are investigating a "smash-and-grab" at the Westfarms Mall on Thursday afternoon.
Police said that there were no weapons involved during the incident and that there is no threat to the public at this time.
The sound of shattering glass did startle shoppers, police said.
It is not clear what store the smash-and-grab took place in.
The incident remains under investigation.
