West Hartford vandalism under investigation: police

During a Israel-Hamas war rally, red paint was splashed on the outside of some businesses.

WEST HARTFORD, Conn. — The West Hartford Police are investigating after some businesses were vandalized with red paint and signs on LaSalle Road. 

On January 21, around 150 people attended a rally addressing the Israel-Hamas War in West Hartford. The rally began around 12:30 p.m. at the West Hartford Town Hall, it then moved through Blue Back Square and West Hartford Center. 

During the rally, some people posted signs on the outside of the businesses at 65 LaSalle Road. Afterward, it was discovered that some known people splashed red paint and put red paint hand prints on the building. The West Hartford Police Department is actively investigating the incident, and as of now, no arrests have been made.
