MERIDEN, Conn. — A Meriden man pleaded guilty on Monday to the murder of a woman in 2019, according to the Office of the State's Attorney.
Jason Watson, 42, of Meriden was arrested in 2020 in connection to the death of his girlfriend 31-year-old Perrie Mason of Meriden.
On Aug. 18, 2019, Mason was reported missing and three days later, her remains were found in Bay State Textiles in Waterbury, where Watson had been employed. Police said Watson choked Mason to unconsciousness during a fight about two days after they broke up.
Watson expected to be sentenced to 30 years in prison under the terms of the plea agreement. The hearing will be on Jan. 22, 2024.
