CROMWELL, Conn. — An armed robbery at a Cromwell gas station early Sunday morning is under investigation, the town's police department said.
Officers went to Sunoco Gas Station at 4 a.m. after receiving a report of a robbery.
Police said they determined through an initial investigation that four suspects were involved. An employee was held at gunpoint by one of the suspects as three others stole items from inside the store, along with cash from the register.
The suspects took off from the scene in a car and were last spotted traveling west on Route 372 in Cromwell, according to police.
The employee was left with minor injuries, police said.
Anyone who witnessed anything suspicious or has information regarding the robbery is asked to call police at 860-635-2256 and speak with the investigating officer, Detective Sergeant Carlson.
