HADDAM, Conn. — A teen was injured in a hit-and-run crash in Haddam Saturday, according to a Facebook post from Troop F Westbrook.
Connecticut State Police troopers from Troop F said they responded to the area of Jackson Road at 12:13 p.m. after receiving a report of a car versus pedestrian crash.
Troopers said the car drove from the scene and continued in a northwesterly direction towards Little City Road.
Upon arriving at the scene of the incident, the troopers discovered a 14-year-old with suspected minor injuries, state police said.
The teen was taken to the hospital for further evaluation, according to state police.
On Facebook, state police displayed a still image that was captured by a video camera at a residence on Little City Road that possibly shows the suspect’s vehicle. State police said the suspect’s vehicle appears to be a black Toyota Highlander made between 2014 and 2019.
Any individual that has any information or video footage that could help identify the suspect from the April 20 incident is asked to contact Trooper Melanie Rennie #441 at the Troop F Barracks at 860-399-2100 or by email at melanie.rennie@ct.gov.
