OLD SAYBROOK, Conn. — Multiple fire crews are responding to a structure fire in Old Saybrook on Wednesday night.
Old Saybrook fire officials said that the fire is on Maple Ave. near the Fenwood Beach area. The Old Saybrook Ambulance Association responded with two ambulances and Middlesex Health with a paramedic.
The Clinton Fire Dept Rapid intervention team is on the scene along with the Westbrook Fire Department and the Essex Fire Department.
The Old Saybrook Fire Marshals Office will investigate the cause of the fire.
Old Saybrook Police Chief Michael Spera said that there is one civilian injury. The extent of their injury is unknown.
