WOODBRIDGE, Conn. — Animal rights group Desmond's Army is offering a $5,000 reward for information after a resident found two dead dogs in Woodbridge, according to the town's regional animal control.
At 11:45 a.m. on Dec. 13, a resident found the dogs on the corner of of Johnson Road and Brookwood Road in Woodbridge, contacting both the town's police department and animal control.
The Woodbridge Regional Animal Control said the dogs were dead when found. Both were female and Micro Bully type breed; one was an adult and the other was a juvenile.
The adult was "white and tan in color deceased on scene," while the juvenile was "white in color with brownish brindle patches around each eye and found in a garbage bag," according to animal control.
Animal control said they are working with the town police department to investigate the incident. They also noted that they brought both dogs to UConn for necropsy work.
