NEW HAVEN, Conn. — New Haven police are investigating an officer-involved shooting, according to the city's police department Thursday.
At 5:25 p.m., police said that officers are investigating the shooting at Ella T. Grasso Boulevard and Route 1 by the West Haven line.
According to the West Haven Police Department, they are assisting New Haven police with their investigation. They said an incident took place on Boston Post Road between Front Avenue and Ella T. Grasso Boulevard.
Police are asking anyone in the area to find an alternate route while it is closed for the investigation.
