NEW HAVEN, Conn. — A police officer was among two people who were injured in a New Haven crash Saturday night, Asst. Fire Chief Daniel Coughlin said.
Fire crews responded to a two-car crash involving a police officer's cruiser at 11:24 p.m.
The police car was reportedly struck as it was going through the intersection, Coughlin said.
There is no further information on the condition of either of the people involved in the crash or the cause of the collision. FOX61 has reached out to police for more details.
This crash comes less than a week after two crashes involving state police cruisers left troopers with minor injuries in Waterford on Dec. 8, and Meriden on Dec. 9.
A crash in Torrington involving a state police cruiser on Dec. 10 was reported with no injuries.
