Search for missing Ansonia child reaches 4-year mark

Vanessa Morales has been missing since Dec. 2, 2019, the same day her mother Christine Holloway was found murdered.

ANSONIA, Conn. — The search for a missing girl in Ansonia reached the four-year mark on Saturday and police are reassuring residents that they've not given up.

Ansonia police officials said that on Dec. 2, 2019, their investigation into the homicide of Christine Holloway and the disappearance of her 15-month-old daughter Vanessa Morales began.

The investigation led to the arrest of Vanessa's father Jose Morales for Christine’s homicide. Vanessa still has not been found.
