WATERBURY, Conn. — A 54-year-old man has died after a Wednesday night car crash in Waterbury.
Waterbury police said that officers responded at 8:49 p.m. to a one-car motor vehicle accident in the area of 215 Perkins Avenue.
The vehicle traveled off the roadway and into a wooded area before it came to a stop. The driver was transported to an area hospital where they later succumbed to their injuries and was pronounced dead.
The victim was identified as Fatmir Cazimovski of Waterbury.
This accident is under investigation by the Waterbury Police Department Crash Reconstruction Unit (CRU).
