NORWICH, Conn — Nearly four years after the shooting death of a 66-year-old man in Norwich, a North Carolina man has been arrested in connection to the death.
Brandon Foster, 35, of Charlotte, was arrested Thursday, after being extradited from North Carolina. He was in police custody in Charlotte since this January, after fleeing the Norwich area to avoid capture, according to police.
Foster is accused of murder in the death of Edward McIntyre, 66, who was found dead from gunshot wounds at a home on Laurel Hill Ave. in Norwich on the afternoon of June 10, 2020.
Foster was charged with murder, felony murder, criminal possession of a firearm and unlawful discharge of a firearm. He was held on a $2 million bond and is scheduled to appear in court on May 9.
Kendon Cole, of Norwich, was arrested in connection to the homicide in September 2020.
