Norwich police were called to the area of Cedar St. around just before 8 p.m. Wednesday for a report of a "disturbance."

A victim told police on the scene that his vehicle crashed after he was shot while driving. The victim then told police he was not sure where the vehicle ended up and that there was a passenger still inside.

The vehicle was found on its side approximately 50 feet in the woods, according to Norwich firefighters.
