LISBON, Connecticut — A pedestrian is dead after being struck by a pickup truck Monday evening in Lisbon.
Connecticut State Police said they were called to the scene on River Road near the intersection of Lee Road at 10:28 p.m. Monday evening for a crash.
A 2020 Ram pickup had been traveling northbound on River Road and hit a pedestrian and the guardrail. It continued to travel north until it hit a telephone pole and came to rest in the road.
The pedestrian, who has not yet been identified, died at the scene.
State police are asking anyone who may have information on the crash to contact them at 860-848-6500 x5.
