NEW HAVEN, Conn. — New Haven Police are investigating a deadly crash that happened on Sunday evening.
Police said the crash involved a motorcycle and an unoccupied, parked car on Quinnipiac Avenue near Essex Street. According to officials, the operator was trying to pass a vehicle and lost control, striking the parked car.
The motorcyclist was taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. Police have identified them only as a 23-year-old individual from New Haven.
The New Haven Police Department's Accident Reconstruction Team was dispatched to investigate this fatal accident.
