MIDDLETOWN–Police made several arrests on Thursday following a two-month long investigation into drugs in town.
Middletown Police say that the investigation was into the trafficking of cocaine and crack cocaine across Middlesex County.
During the arrest, police seized 45 grams of cocaine and 19 grams of crack cocaine, more than $270,000 and five vehicles.
Scott Cottrell, David Fountain, Cory Wagner and Crystal Dykas were arrested in connection to the seizure.
Cottrell is charged with possession of cocaine/crack cocaine, possession of cocaine/crack cocaine with intent to sell, sale of narcotics, conspiracy to sell narcotics and accessory to selling narcotics.
Fountain is charged with possession of cocaine/crack cocaine, possession of cocaine/crack cocaine with intent to sell, three counts of sale of narcotics, conspiracy to sell narcotics, possession of less than 1/2 ounce of marijuana and accessory to sell narcotics.
Wagner is charged with conspiracy to sell narcotics and accessory to sell narcotics.
Dykas was charged with conspiracy to sell narcotics and accessory to sell narcotics.
Cory Wagner was charged with conspiracy to sell narcotics, and accessory to sell narcotics.
