CLINTON – A Clinton teen who made weaponized drone videos was arrested again on child pornography charges.
On Thursday at around 5:45 a.m., police said Austin Haughwout came to the Clinton Police Department to turn himself in on an outstanding arrest warrant issued by Middletown Superior Court charging him enticing a minor, fourth-degree attempted sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor.
Police said the warrant was issued after a lengthy investigation but the arrest warrant was sealed by the court.
Haughwout didn’t post bail and was taken to Middletown Superior Court for a Thursday arraignment.
In July, a federal judge ordered Bret Haughwout and his son to testify under oath and hand over documents about weaponized drones shown in YouTube videos firing a gun and deploying a flame thrower in their Clinton backyard.
In June, Haughwout was arrested for possession of child pornography, enticing a minor with a computer, fourth-degree attempted sexual assault and risk of impairing morals.
