GREENWICH — A CT Transit bus crashed Saturday morning as a result of slippery road conditions during the storm.
Police said the bus slid down a hill and crashed sideways into a utility pole on Soundview Drive in Greenwich about 7:50 a.m.
There were seven riders on the bus, one of whom was injured and taken to Stamford Hospital for monitoring. Soundview Drive was expected to be closed for most of the day in that area.
Eversource shut down power to homes nearby in order to repair the damage.
