HARTFORD — FOX 61 is pleased to announce Erin Logan is joining the FOX 61 news team. Logan will begin reporting for the station December 14.
Logan joins FOX 61 from WTNH in New Haven where she served as an anchor/reporter/investigator. Prior to that, she held anchor/reporter positions at WLNE in Providence, RI, the Job Search Television Network in Chicago and WNDU in South Bend, IN. Earlier, Logan was a reporter at WOFL in Orlando, WHDH in Boston, WJAR in Cranston, RI and WPRI in Providence.
“We are very excited to add Erin to the FOX 61 team. She is a strong reporter and will help cover the important issues to better serve our viewers,” said Coleen Marren, News Director.
Logan’s second job over the years has been teaching at the college level. Logan was a Public Speaking instructor at the University of Bridgeport. She’s also taught several media courses and workshops in Rhode Island and Indiana, including the University of Notre Dame. She will begin teaching a broadcast course a Quinnipiac University in January 2016.
“I’m thrilled to be joining a team of impressive managers and talented journalists who are heavily involved in the community and work hard every day to find unique stories and get answers for people who are struggling here in Connecticut,” said Logan.
Logan graduated Magna Cum Laude from Syracuse University with a BS in Speech Communication. She later received a Master’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism at Boston University.
