FAIRFIELD – A woman and her 7-month-old infant are being treated at Bridgeport Hospital after rear-ending a  car at a red light.

Police say that on Tuesday, Oct. 21 at 9:21 a.m., a woman collided into the rear end of Fairfield Police Chief Gary MacNamara’s car while he was sitting at a traffic light.

The Chief’s vehicle was then pushed into a parked, occupied vehicle while the woman continued north on Reef Road and crashed into the south side of a Victoria’s Secret nearby.

The  woman and her infant, in addition to the occupant of the parked vehicle and the Fairfeld Police Chief, were being treated at the hospital.

This crash is under investigation.
