SIX FLAGS AMUSEMENT PARK

AGAWAM – Six Flags New England is holding a special Flag Day celebration honoring three different non-profit organizations.

On Flag Day weekend, the park will honor hometown heroes with a first-ever EMS event.

From Friday through Sunday, Six Flags New England will offer free admission for all fire, police and EMS staff with proper identification. EMS friends and family can also purchase discounted tickets at the group sales window for $38.50.

On Sunday, the park will host plenty of fun safety activities, including tours of emergency vehicles, and CPR and Heimlich maneuver demonstrations. There will also be a Red Cross blood drive held at the Human Resources building located across the street from Six Flags New England from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Each presenting donor will receive a free ticket valued at $59.99 to Six Flags New England valid through September 27.

Also on Sunday, the park will open at 10:30 a.m. with a special flag ceremony featuring Girl Scouts from Coventry, Connecticut. Girl Scouts of Connecticut is the largest organization serving girls and women in Connecticut and their mission is to build girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. The first Girl Scout Troop in Connecticut was formed in 1912.
