Husband, Wife Dead From Gunshot Wounds In Bristol

On June 4 Bristol Police responded to a reported shooting at 73 Henderson St.

A press release from the department states officers entered the home and found two gunshot victims, who were both dead. The preliminary investigation on the day of the incident showed it may have been a murder-suicide.

Alexander Ryng, 26, and Kyla Ryng, 27, were the victims. They left behind three children–Whitney, 4, Brody, 3, and  Lincoln, 20 months–who were home at the time of the incident at approximately 7:14 a.m. None of the children were injured.

Kyla’s Kids Fund was set up to help the children who lost both their parents. According to the fundraiser’s website, the two older children ran to their grandmother’s house for help after witnessing their father kill their mother.

A fundraiser is being held on Oct. 26 at the Swedish Social Club Benefit in Bristol to raise funds for the children’s upbringing so that they can have the life their mother envisioned for them, including the ability to participate in activities.

You can find out more about the organization and fundraiser at Kyla’s Kids Fund‘s website, which is operated by her brother. The site also provides information about domestic violence.
