HARTFORD – Police in the capital city are investigating a Sunday morning shooting in the city’s north end.
About 9:20 a.m., Hartford Police were called to Adams Street and Albany Avenue.
Police found a man lying on the ground who had been shot four times. Police also found multiple .22 caliber shell casings on the ground. Officials said the man taken to St. Francis Hospital with non life threatening gunshot wounds to the upper torso and chin. Police said the victim was 43 years old. Police said the victim has been arrested 50 times.
Major crimes division is investigating the shooting. Shot spotter was not activated by the gunfire according to police.
